Body Mass Index (BMI)
The BMI is the most frequently used value to assess whether a person is under, normal or overweight.
The BMI is easy to calculate and, for the average person, has a strong correlation with the body fat ratio.
Note:
The body mass index (BMI) only allows a rough estimate. For example, if you have a lot of muscle mass, you can have a high BMII without being overweight in the true sense of the word.
